Motherhood.

Definitely one of the most underrated careers in the universe. Thanks to pop culture and the media, mothers all over have only begun to open up about what really happens beyond the white picket fence. Thanks to Oprah and shows like Desperate Housewives, motherhood finally has a face without the mask and the unflappable goddess of calm finally decided to tell it like it is.

Mommy blogs came just right on time. Cool, candid and rockin’ moms are not afraid to give their thoughts, post their questions and share their experiences (with a recipe or two tucked in between). The fact that all these happen in cyberspace is all the more remarkable.

Single working-moms like me have so much to share and so much to learn from other moms.
